I was excited for The Walking Dead. I was excited for Migrations. I am always excited to see Shakira or Madonna on tv. But nothing compares with how excited I am to have CONAN back on my tv. OH MY GOD YES!!!!!!!!

The best news I've heard this week? THIS JUST OUT with Liz Feldman is BACK!!! It starts on Monday which just happens to be National Coming Out Day...oh Liz. :) For those of you who don't know who Liz is...shame on you...and here is a brief introduction to her awkward interview skills. Love this woman.


So far I've kept true to my word to watch at least 1 horror movie a day for the 31 days of October. I'm watching the 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead right now. Cracks me up that Bill Moseley was in it. :)

Izzy is at it again. She killed another chipmunk. :( I can't help but be proud of her hunting prowess but I am so sad for the lil rodents. They just don't have a chance once she spots them. I came out of the house and saw it at the foot of the stairs and she came scampering around the side of the house, meowing, chirping actually, and did a little dance. She was so happy with herself. Then Irvy walked over it and his lame back leg stepped on it so he turned around and gobbled it up. I shrieked. He dropped it. Then Izzy hissed at him. Pawed the dead chipmunk, saw it was relatively the same as she'd left it then moved on. Then I walked Irvy. My animals are awesome.

Speaking of awesome animals: WILD TURKEYS!!!!!!! There were 4 wild turkeys on my street today. Four JUMBO wild turkeys!!!! I tried to get pictures but the humidity fucked up my camera lens. :(

It is the last night of September and you know what this means kiddies. OCTOBER!! So ... 31 horror movies!! No no for real. I'm going to do it this year. Probably more than that (as usual) but at least one a day. I'm going to have to use HBO, Showtime, Cinemax and Encore to add to my own collection. Although I might actually own over 30 horror movies. Hm. I shall check. I'll let you know what I watch. :)

I think I'm going to promote shaki  in dw_community_promo and see if I can't get some more members.

I just checked out some previews for all of the tracks off Shaki's new album Sale El Sol and you guys..she wasn't lying when she said there are some songs that are a lot like songs off of Pies Descalzos. YAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!! I am so fucking excited for this album now. Also the new video is out and I AM SO THRILLED with how screen-cappable it is. ICONS GALORE!!

Hi kiddies! It is time to squee!! Yay!!

First off, this wonderful quote from Madonna: "Speak your mind but not louder than me." haha I love her so fucking much. Who doesn't really, deep down, feel that way? Exactly. We all want to be educated and hear from each person and see every side of the situation but deep down we expect that we'll be logical  / right and therefore unless you agree with us, shut up. But yeah. She said it during an interview with Lola on the red/pink carpet of Lola's new clothing line Material Girl. Speaking of which, I cannot get over how grown up Lola and Rocco are. I feel so old but then, I suppose, Madonna does, too.


The preview clip for the music video to Shaki's new single "Loca" is out today and I'd like to make a prediction based on these 30 seconds: I will make more icons from this music video than any of Shaki's previous videos. Ohmyeverlovinggod does this look like a fun time. :)
